Michael Stacy ’92

Brother Michael Stacy was active on campus as an undergraduate and he was a member of the Student Development Council. He worked at the Kentucky Kernel and was in charge of advertising sales staff while recruiting for Southwestern. His senior year he served Beta-Nu as Grand Master in 1995 before graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration – Finance.

Michael is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor for Merrill Lynch Professionally he has attained the certified financial planner designation and his investment consultant designation from Wharton Business School. He is a President Club member and Top Producer at Merrill Lynch. Prior to moving to Merrill Lynch he was a Wealth Advisor for Morgan Stanley for 15 years.

Mike remains active in the community. He is a board member of Kicks for Kids and sits on the development board for the Blessed Sacrament school. He is also an alumni board member of NKYGC UK alumni association and past board member of Parish Kitchen. He teaches classes in financial planning at Thomas More College in NKY. A UK Fellow and life member of the alumni association, Mike was recently added to the KE housing board and alumni committee.

Mike and Tracie have three daughters, Sophia, 10, Bella, 8, and Gianna, 6.

Mike is grateful to Beta-Nu for instilling integrity, as well as for the brotherhood and lifelong friendships.

He advises current undergrads to “Get uncomfortable! If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get, what you always gotten.”
